Centurions & Visionary Knights of M. Light

August is right around the corner and so is the premier for "Bourne Legacy" but it's not the topic for this entry (although it's somehow related). There have been several movies shown that were based on comicbooks, books, anime and 80's toons and most of them aren't good. In fact, they're terrible and everytime Hollywood releases 1, it makes me worried especially the ones that I've grown to love. Like in the case of the "Last Air Bender" movie where I was horrified, turned white and then turned red because I was furious! It made me say, "I can write a good script than that" but of course it would still come out wrong.

Happy Mothers Day

Chihayafuru & Karuta

This anime was a good surprising find! I was skeptical since I read that there's some card game involve and thought, “oh it's those commercial type anime.” But I was puzzled to see the cards they were playing and the tone of the show. The cards are plain and dull. All you see is letters. I can't even read it. Heck, I can't even understand why they're so excited about it.

Beelzebub revolves around the story of Oga Tatsumi who

Gosick

I noticed GOSICK because of its Art Nouveau style intro and it’s one of the many art movements that I love. The story is similar to “Sherlock Holmes and even the main character Detective Victorique ("Vikutorika"), a little girl also uses a smoking pipe

Kuragehime (Princess Jellyfish)

If you'd like a change of view on anime (particularly exaggeratedly drawn female "body parts"), I pick and recommend watching "KURAGEHIME" (Princess Jellyfish).

Skip Beat

Generous - "Renaissance"
I keep stumbling on the anime "Skip Beat" which was highly praised from what I read. I was disappointed
