I've update a post of mine and stumbled on something, worth sharing if your a fan of the Avatar: THE LAST AIRBENDER (ANIMATION ONLY. Movie - NOOOOO!!).
Before that, here's a last episode portrait.
It Looks Freakin' FANTASTIC!! Hopefully from the trailer alone, it will cure our curse from that nightmare called movie version (BEGONE DEMON!!). I think they should absolutely try to resist from making another adaptation because I haven't recovered from the anguish and that happened 10 years ago (somewhat).

to air on Nickelodeon in mid-2012, but no concrete air date has been given. The series is currently under production, and is expected to run for 26 episodes. The co-creators of the original series, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, will personally write all of the episodes to allow for a tighter storyline..."
The new series will take place 70 years after the end of the Avatar: The Last Airbender story arc, with all-new characters and settings. The protagonist of the new series, Korra, the next Avatar after Aang, is a hot-headed and rebellious young woman from the Southern Water Tribe who is "ready to take on the world". The series plans to follow Korra as she faces an anti-bender revolt while mastering the art of Airbending from Aang and Katara's son, Tenzin."

"Tenzin is an Airbender and the youngest son of Avatar Aang and Katara. Very little information is known about him at this point. However, it is known that the current Avatar, Korra, is seeking his tutelage in Republic City..."
"NAGA is a Polar Bear Dog that somehow came into the possession of Avatar Korra as her animal guide."
